Published in the Journal of Prevention of Alzheimer’s Disease, our program has successfully decreased older adults’ dementia risk over a 3 month period. Many participants described the benefits of being engaged in our program, with over 7 in 10 having better awareness of modifiable risk factors, and 7 in 10 having decreased dementia risk, post program.

As well as exercising in the pool and walking, I’m going to use the cards and activities from the Brain Bootcamp program to get my mind working. I’m now eating much healthier food and I’ve already started losing weight, which is helping me mentally.
